Regulatory Requirements. The delivered product shall comply with all applicable Federal and State mandatory requirements and regulations relating to the preparation, formulation, processing, labeling, storage, distribution, and sales of the product in the commercial marketplace.
Quality Assurance. When required in the contract or purchase order, the peeled white potatoes shall be product graded and certified as to grade and condition of containers by the Processed Products Branch, Fruit and Vegetable Division, Agricultural Marketing Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture. The product grade and condition of containers of the peeled white potatoes shall be determined in accordance with the established requirements of the U.S. grade and condition of container standards in effect on the date of solicitation.
Packaging, Packing, Labeling, and Marking: (As appropriate and applicable). The peeled white potatoes shall be packaged, packed, and case marked in accordance with good commercial practice. Commercial labeling and packaging, as may be suggested by the contract or purchase order, shall be acceptable. Shipping containers, as applicable, shall comply with National Motor Freight and Uniform Freight classification.
