VEGETABLE PUREES, CANNED
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has authorized the use of this commercial item description by all Federal agencies.
1. SCOPE.
1.1 This Commercial Item Description (CID), covers the requirements for vegetable purees, packed in commercially acceptable containers, suitable for use by the Federal Government.
2. CLASSIFICATION.
2.1 The vegetable purees shall comply to one of the options in the following list, which shall be specified in the solicitation, contract, or purchase order.
Types.
Type I- Asparagus
Type II- Green Bean
Type III- Pea
Type IV- Squash
Type V- Carrot
Type VI- Beet
